Last night I was lucky enough to be invited to another event organised by Acer UK and their PR team. This time around it was based in London and what a evening they had planned for us!
Arriving in London for 17:30 and meeting just off of Oxford Street we were greeted with our own Acer branded rickshaws. If like me you’ve never been on a rickshaw before they’re basically a 3 wheeled passenger cart that is pulled (or in our case cycled) by one other person at the front.
Once we’d boarded we spent the next 80 minutes having a tour around London passing by Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, crossing Westminister Bridge and finally ending at a bar near the London Eye.
Whilst we were being carted around London on a rickshaw in the back each of us was receiving a demonstration of Acers latest roundup of products, and in my case it was the Spin 5 laptop.
At first glance the Spin 5 seemed like decent little laptop. It has a 360-degree display so can be used in tablet mode with the touchscreen as well a decent battery life maxing out at 10 hours. As I’m sure you’ll agree it’s quite difficult to get a real feel for a product whilst whizzing around London in a rickshaw and so I’ll be doing a full review of the Spin 5 soon. Be sure to keep checking back for that!
As always thanks to Acer UK and their PR team for organising these fun events as a way to showcase their new products!
